Scott Alan Willis

Scott Alan Willis passed away unexpectedly in late May, 2020 at the age of 58. He was living in Ogden, Utah at the time of his passing and was loved by his community and family. He was born in Santa Monica, California on July 27, 1961 to his parents, Dona Mae Marie and Ward Warren Willis. After his mother's passing, he moved in with his Aunt Sharron and Uncle Lorin Yeates, and they later moved to Colorado. While living with them he became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and later served a mission in Christchurch, New Zealand. He graduated from Cherry Creek High School in 1979.

Scott lived in Denver, Colorado for most of his adult life, and spent many years as a new-home inspector and a painter. He loved the outdoors, fishing, biking, dogs and sports. He had a fun, subtle sense of humor. He had a helpful attitude and was willing to serve those around him.

He is survived by his former spouse, Janeen Willis and their four children and grandchildren. Daughter, Sydney and her husband Shawn Sears and their three children, Taylee (passed away), Cooper and Cache. Daughter, Brooke Willis. Son, Ryan Willis and his wife Marissa and their daughter Presley. And his son Joseph Willis. He is also survived by his aunt, Sharron Yeates and his sister, Sandy Warden, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, older sister and granddaughter. He will be missed, and we picture him having a joyful reunion with his family members that have passed before him.
