Robert “Moose” Glenn Higham

On July 12, 2021 following a fun filled day with his family, Rob "Moose" Higham was called home unexpectedly.

Born October 14, 1969 to Robert Bess and MaryLou (Wheadon) Higham. He was raised in Rose Park, graduated from West High, served honorably in the Indiana Mission for the LDS church.

Moose loved baseball and had a 94 mile an hour pitch at 14, until his Tommy John surgery. After which he learned to pitch left-handed. He loved spending spring and summer Sundays pitching to his kids at the park.

He also loved fishing, movies, music, sand volleyball, cheering enthusiastically for his children, but most of all ANY time with family.

Moose met and married the love of his life Leilani (Brown) in 1994. They share 9 beautiful children, the absolute joy of his life. Nothing brings Moose greater joy than time with his wife and children.

Moose is an incredible father, a loving, doting husband, and had a listening ear for everyone. He loved people and genuinely wanted good things for them.

He is a BIG man with an even BIGGER heart. We will miss seeing you, but also know you are close by watching over us.

Moose is survived by his wife Leilani (Brown), his children Robert (26), Ke'Aloha (24), Elijah (22), John Henry "Hank" (20 1/2), Eleora (18), Kristian "Kalisi" "Ian" (15), Arianna (13), Tui tuku koloa "Thor" "Chewy" (10), Luna Fae (6). His mother MaryLou (Wheadon) Higham, his sisters Sandy (Rick) Clifford, Della Higham, and Melinda "Lindy" Higham. Dozens of beautiful nieces and nephews on both sides, he loved them all. Preceded in Spirit by his father Robert Bess Higham, and our eldest unborn son, a joyful reunion we are sure it was.

Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Moose's life.
