Joseph Itejo Malanga

Joseph Itejo Malanga (Americain) born in the former Zaire now D.R. Congo, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 61 years old. His wife, mother, children, and brother were all alongside him. He is back with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is survived by his grieving wife Chantal K Malanga and his 6 children Christian Malanga, Patricia Parker, Grace Malanga, Joseph Malanga Jr., Marceline Malanga, and Melissa Malanga. He also has 10 beautiful grandchildren and was a father figure to so many people.

Joseph was a man who came from humble beginnings. He was born in a remote Village of Mangai, which is in the Bandudu Province of the D. R. Congo. He had a drive and determination to take his family from Congo, Africa to the USA in hopes of pursuing the American Dream. He was able to take so many people outside of his family out of the poverty. He lived life representing the scripture "Psalm 68:5 (a)A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows." He was proud of his non profit organization and the work he was able to do in the U.S and overseas.

Everyone that had the pleasure of meeting him, immediately become family. He never limited himself and had so many plans for the future. Joseph was a great man who lived life unapologetically. He was a devoted husband and father, a leader in his community, a trendsetter, a visionary, and had a charm about him that left a lasting impression. His priorities were his family and helping others. He had a dream to make a difference in the world and he accomplished that. He would always tell his wife, "Ntale! toko zala bien." With great sadness of losing you too soon, we will fulfill that promise. Until we meet again know that you will never be forgotten. We love you so much!
